Welcome to Massage, Motherhood and More

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a massage therapist who works mostly with women—mothers, daughters, friends, caretakers—women who give so much to others and often need a reminder to come back to themselves. I’m also a homeschool mom, which means I live in a world of snacks, questions, emotions, and learning curves (mine included).

This blog is where those worlds meet.

Let me start by sharing a little of how I got here.

I became a massage therapist over 12 years ago, but the journey really started when I was struggling with anxiety. I felt constantly overwhelmed and stressed, like I was carrying too much. My husband suggested I get a massage. I didn’t expect much—but that one hour changed everything. It was the most relaxed I’d felt in months. I had no idea how powerful just one hour of intentional rest could be for my nervous system.

That moment stayed with me.

Years later, when I became a mom, I faced a new wave of anxiety—postpartum this time. It felt like everything I had just gotten a handle on came flooding back, stronger and louder. But it was through a mix of things—nutrition, stretching, meditation, movement, and yes, massage—that I slowly found my way back to myself.

I still experience the everyday anxiety that can come with motherhood. The wondering if I’m doing it right. The emotional weight of caring deeply. But now I have tools—real, simple, embodied tools—and that makes all the difference.

This blog is my way of sharing those tools, stories, and truths with you. You might find massage tips, nervous system support, personal reflections, or reminders that you’re not alone in your struggles.

This isn’t a space for perfection.
It’s a space for gentleness, honesty, and care.

If you’re navigating motherhood, healing, anxiety, or just trying to hold it all together—I hope this space feels like a soft place to land.

With care,
Lindy
